A good night out at the 2010 Mobile News Awards presentation on Thursday 18th March for the Frequency team was made very much better by the receipt of two commendations and a finalist position across three categories.
Frequency Accessories and Jelly Communications both received commendations in their categories and the Case-mate Fuel Lite, exclusively distributed in Europe by Frequency was a finalist in the very competitive Innovative Product Category.
Frequency Accessories was recognised in the Distributor Accessories category for its impressive growth in sales and it's new distribution agreements with Case-mate and OtterBox.
Jelly Communications, Frequency's business-to-business dealership was also commended for its 26% uplift in sales on previous year and drew very positive comments from the judges who said 'Decision making was extremely difficult with a high standard of entries. Jelly could be the game-changer in the marketplace with its new and innovative sales and marketing approach.'
The final accolade was for the Case-mate Fuel Lite accessory which is exclusively distributed by Frequency across Europe. In a very competitive category where the judges commented that 'there could have been two or three winners', the Case-mate Fuel Lite, an innovative mobile phone case that both protects and recharges the handset was a finalist.
Frequency's Managing Director Gareth Limpenny was understandably delighted by the group's showing across three different awards categories, he said, 'There's no doubt its been a tough year for business, but Frequency has bucked the trend and grown in all areas. The recognition from the Mobile News Awards demonstrates that we are getting a lot of things right and I'm so pleased that the effort from the entire Frequency group team has been recognised.'
